How to measure yourself and choose your dress size and skirt length.

  1. Measure your bust waist and hips.
    • Bust – Measure at the fullest part of your bust with your bra on. Don’t pull the tape measure too tight.
    • Waist – Measure around the narrowest part of your waist
    • Hips – Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
  2. Compare your measurements to those on our size chart.
  3. Choose the sizes from our chart that are the closest match to your measurements. You can mix and match sizes at the bust waist and hips if you need to (eg, 12 bust, 12 waist, 14 hips) to get the right fit for you. If your measurements fall between sizes, we recommend that you order the size above, except if it’s the waist measurement for a strapless dress, then we recommend that you order the size below.
  4. If you need help in, send us your measurements and we will advise you on which sizes to choose.
  5. All of our long skirts and dresses come with custom skirt lengths. To work out the length of skirt that you would like measure from your waist (where you took the waist measurement above) down to where you would like the hem of your skirt to finish. So, if you want it ankle length, measure to where on your ankles you'd like it to finish. If you would like it floor length, measure to just off the floor (any longer and you might be tripping over it). You will need someone to take this measurement for you to get it accurate, and be sure to wear shoes of the height you'll be wearing with the dress as you measure. Tying a ribbon tightly around the narrowest part of your waist can help you know where to measure from. The skirt length measurements are from the bottom of the waistband and the skirt length measurements for the dresses are from the waist seam.

Tips for measuring and choosing your sizes

  • If possible, have someone take your measurements for you. It’s always more accurate, especially for measuring skirt lengths.
  • Make sure the tape measure stays straight. It’s easy for it to slip down which will lead to an incorrect measurement.
  • If possible, take your measurements wearing only your underwear. Never measure over bulky clothes such as jeans and jumpers.
  • Even if you have taken your measurements recently, take them again to make sure they’re as up to date as possible.
  • If you’re feeling bloated, wait a day or 2 and take your measurements again to see if they have changed before you order.
  • Sizing and measurement charts vary a lot from brand to brand, so make sure you pick the sizes that closest match your measurements on our chart, rather than ordering the size you might usually wear in other brands.
  • Wear shoes with the heel height that you'll be wearing with your dress or skirt when you take you skirt length measurement.
  • Double check that your measurements are accurate. No refunds will be given for orders placed with the wrong measurements.
