Sarah fell in love with my Roxy dress, but was worried about the fit not being right. As she is in the UK, there wasn't the option of coming to see me for a fitting, so we decided the best way to get the fit right was to do a toile fitting. Sarah took her measurements and I made a custom pattern for my Roxy dress, made a calico toile, and posted it to the UK.
Once it had arrived, Sarah took some initial pictures for me to see, then we caught up over a video call so that I could see the toile on her and see what alterations I needed to make to make to get the fit right. From there I made the necessary alterations to the pattern and went ahead and made Sarah's dress.
I've now added custom sizing with a toile fitting as an option to purchase as part of my customisable range for dress and corset orders, so if, like Sarah, you've fallen in love with one of my dresses buy are worried about the sizing or the fit, you can now add the custom size and toile option before you check out.
Please allow an extra 4 weeks to the total making and delivery time as I'll need to make and post the toile to you and complete the virtual fitting via video message before I can start work on your final dress. If time is an issue, please get in touch and we'll see what's possible.
